University of Chester, Department of Biological Sciences Masters' programmes: Training and contract projects can be tailored to fit the needs of users and students. Chester can provide training in a variety of forms to suit the needs of CPD, Career progression and the need for accredited qualifications.Participants will be able to register on the short course modules at University of Chester for a postgraduate qualification (MSc, PG diploma & certificate) or in a long course format for a first-degree qualification. Masters/Diploma/Certificated training and analytical and laboratory foundation programmes are offered by the University of Chester. Postgraduate modules (with lab-based practicals) are organised in a short course format. Core analytical modules can be offered by a tutoring arrangement through the Centre using Internet and e-mail communication. Practical aspects can be conducted by arrangement in the laboratories of the group members. Group members having the expertise in the specific fields of interest can offer mentoring.
Chester is also able to provide contract support in the form of experimental work, use of equipment and provision of space for those needing short or long term facilities on a rental or contract basis.
Scientific And Technology Solutions Ltd has been set up to cater for analytical activities, including advice, technology transfer, information and training with an emphasis on those areas of interest to the Sudanese Petroleum Industry. Through SATS similar training programmes can be organised in conjunction with The Centre.
