EFASIG2017 Environmental & Food Analysis SIG Meeting, July 19, 2017

Aims

To highlight and focus on recent advances in the innovations of chromatography-mass spectrometry applied to environmental & food matrix analysis.

 

Meeting Summary and Details

This meeting is open to all organizations and institutions with interests in environmental mass spectrometry utilising chromatography and mass spectrometry across the spectrum of instrumentation and applications. Oral and poster presentations are invited for which abstracts (1 x A4) should be submitted by e-mail attachment to Chris Wright ( This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it ) within two weeks of the meeting date final, inclusive of title, presenter underlined, other authors, dept/division, affiliation, town/city location but not full address. Registration forms will be available on request from This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it for completion by the deadline of June 30, 2017.

 

Please note that presentations by postgraduates, early career scientists and experienced practitioners working in the areas within the remit of EFASIG are welcome so that there is a blend between the established and new.  Invited keynote speakers to the sessions will be representative of both groups.

Documents Download

The Document page of the website pages is designed to facilitate the download of documents posted as pdf, doc or ppt files containing advice, technical notes and tutorials. The articles posted will be from training programmes operated through the Centre and those individually requested by analysts visiting the site who require specific information on theory, methodology, problem solving and tutorial exercises or other topics of interest. A range of topics will be listed and files will remain on the page and removed depending on demand. The themes will be altered at intervals to cover a variety of interests.

Articles will also be posted by the Centre on topics considered to be broadly of interest to the analytical community. As a complement the documents page can be used by members as a vehicle to display manuscripts/articles on the Internet that have not been accepted for publication or are not being considered for publication, which are deemed to be of value and informative to the analytical community.

Currently the page is devoted to EFASIG News, to promote the use of the website for conference activities.
 
Registered users should contact the administrator if they wish to submit articles in other and specific subject areas. The organisers trust that this facility will be of value to analysts in the UK and worldwide.
