Instructions to EMS2010 members

To view the details of  your registration and interest in attending the meeting log on (user name and password required) and click on Front End & EMS2010 Individual Member Profile (Home Page) and the additional information tab to access the registration status as a delegate/exhibitor and level of  participation as a delegate/speaker/poster presenter/exhibitor. Although it is possible to change the input you are advised not to do so as the details will be regularly updated by the administrator who is a co-organiser of the meeting. An EMS2010 Member List (Home Page) has also been set up for members/users interested in attending the EMS2010 meeting.   The full suite of information can be viewed by accessing the EMS2010 forum page 

 

Instructions and Information for Presenters and Exhibitors 

Oral abstracts: 1 x A4, font 12, single spaced headed by Title, Authors' Names and Affiliations, presenter* capacity < 250 kb ; no diagrams or tables unless absolutely necessary.

Oral presentations 1. MSppt for meeting presentation 2. For documents page on website: MSppt or pdf, capacity < 5 Mb.

Posters: up to 1.5 m x 1m for display on poster boards, unless otherwise advised by authors.  

 

The scientific programme is now complete, however, poster presentations will be accepted if submitted by March 17, 2010.

EMS2010 Conference Information

 

Details of the EMS2010 Conference are provided below:

The live EMS2010 conference has been arranged for one day, March 24, 2010 ,and the theme for the meeting is current trends in the Applications of Mass Spectrometry to Environmental and Food Matrix Analysis.  The meeting is being jointly convened by the Environmental Mass spectrometry and Food & Nutrition Special Interest Groups of the BMSS and will form part of a conference week of three meeting, March 22 - 26, 2010 being organised at the University of Chester by Prof. Chris Smith, covering also Nanotechnology & Food, and, Food Science & Technology.

 

Plenary Lecture

Dr Enrico Davoli of the Capo Laboratorio Spettrometria di Massa Istituto di Ricerche Farmacologiche "Mario Negri", Milan, will present the plenary lecture entitled A Review of Advanced MS Techniques in environmental studies: advantages and current limitations’.

Exhibitor logos and information about commercial products can similarly be included in the forum. Short presentations in MSppt or acrobat format (</= 5 MByte) are required for uploading to the document page for viewing and downloading in the EMS2010 repository file or EMSexhibition for commercial displays.)   

 

Please note that if you wish to view the forum you will need to apply for a user name and password to log on or to register directly click on "register with us" listed in the menu on the Home page.

 

Registration for the website will allow access to EMS2010 Member Profile, EMS2010 Member List and the fora for presentation titles and abstracts but from the deadline, February 22, 2010, and until after date of the meeting access will be restricted to bona fide delegates who have paid registration fees. The EMS2010 registration form can be completed on line at
